Evangelism

The vision of the Evangelism Ministry is to lead Mt. Zion in evangelism by recruiting, training, and leading members to engage in diverse community outreach efforts, to do follow-up home visitations, and to provide evangelistic support for every Mt. Zion sponsored event.

The purpose of the Evangelism Ministry is to equip believers to share the love of God, model that love, and win people to Christ.  Also, to make people feel welcome when they enter the church (greeter), visit people who are interested in our church and glorify God by spreading the salvation message of Jesus Christ through all activities and organizations of the church.

The Evangelism team adventures out into the community and invites people to discover what faith in Jesus Christ means.  Fliers pertaining to various events taking place at the church are distributed throughout the community.

Missions

The Vision of this ministry is to engage the World for Christ. Mt Zion conducts ministy in Africa, St. Vincent, and mexico.

Helping Hands

The Helping Hands Ministry was formed as an outreach ministry in order to provide an emergency source of services to disadvantaged families in the community.  We have served the community in the form of food, clothing and transitional housing.

High Schools

Our goal at Mt Zion Baptist Church is to reach our youth and to make Christ known to them were ever they are. There is no greater opportunity to meet that goal than to have a presence out our High Schools and Middles Schools

Every week we help to evangelize our youth with bible studies during lunch hour. We also help to build powerful youth leader to organize their Christian Clubs on campus and to encourage other ways of outreach, discipleship and service

Colleges

Just like our High School Outreach our goal is to impact young adults. With so much confusion and pushing of views on our college campuses it's important to able to be a light in such a dark place.

Not only do we teach bible studies and help organize Christian Clubs on campus. It also serves as support and accountability group among peers, seeing the temptations away from home can be overwhelming at times.
