Vision Statement

To reach our full potential in Christ Jesus through teaching, nurturing, prayer, fellowship and service. To also develop Mt. Zion girls in like manner.

No experience needed—just a willing heart.  Attend a monthly meeting to find out how you can participate.

Women’s Ministry Teams

• Calling Tree – Reaches women by phone to encourage involvement in the Women’s Ministry.
• Child Care – Coordinates childcare services for monthly fellowship & activities.
• Events – Maintains women’s ministry calendar and organizes quarterly birthday parties
• Greeting – Greets first timers at monthly fellowship meetings and presents guests with a gift.
• Health & Fitness – Coordinates seminars and workshops addressing women’s health and fitness issues
• Praise & Worship – Leads the ministry in worship during monthly fellowship and other events
• Prayer – Undergirds the Mt. Zion women and church body in prayer.
• Support & Encouragement – Assists Mt. Zion members experiencing difficult or transitional times by visiting, calling or sending cards.
• Women’s Retreat – Coordinates the women’s ministry’s annual retreat and encourages participation of as many women as possible
• God’s Little Angels—Coordinates efforts to train girls from 1st to 6th grade to become women of God and assist them in reaching their full potential in Christ.

Young Women of God – Coordinates efforts to train girls from 7th to 12th grade to become women of God and assist them in reaching their full potential in Christ.
